Yoga is for the mind, body and spirit. Yoga brings awareness to the self and frequent sessions can increase strength and flexibility. The mindful exercise of yoga can ease pain in lower back and joints and bring a sense of peace and happiness.

 

There are many types of yoga. Some include very challenging, rigorous moves combined with breath and focus. Others focus on very quiet stillness to stretch deeper tissues and to develop mental awareness through meditation. All forms can be beneficial for differ-ent aspects of the mind and body.

 

Megan Meehan-Dorr will lead you through whole body stretching, breathing with motion and finding deeper, more settled poses.
